Functions

Functions are available to book Wednesday to Sunday. Please contact us to discuss your preferred date including function time and duration. (We generally offer 4 hour blocks for functions).

We appreciate you are extremely popular, however our venue's maximum capacity is 45 guests. (Please note that COVID-19 restrictions can affect our capacity. Please check with us if booking during COVID and we can let you know if any restrictions are in place that may affect your function).

Yes. If you book a private function we will close the venue so that the space is exclusively available to you and your guests for your allocated function time.

We do not charge a venue hire fee. We just ask that you have a minimum spend on the night throughout the function on food and drinks as detailed below.

The minimum spend required on available function nights is as follows: Wednesday $1,000

Thursday $1,500 Friday $2,000 Saturday $2,000 Sunday $2,000

No, however please consider that the minimum spend will still be required regardless of your group size.

If the minimum spend is not met before the conclusion of your allocated function time then the person who booked the function is liable to pay the remaining balance to make up any difference outstanding.

e.g if a group's total spend on a Saturday night concludes at $1,500 then the difference of $500 must be paid to complete the $2,000 minimum spend required for a Saturday function. Payment of any difference is required before leaving the venue, so please come prepared for any outstanding payments on the evening of your function. Failing this your credit card will be charged for any outstanding payments using the details you have provided us in the booking form.

A 20% deposit is required to confirm your booking. A booking is not held until your deposit is paid and must be received at least 14 days prior to your function date.

Your deposit amount counts towards the minimum spend required for your function. e.g if a 20% deposit amount of $400 is paid to confirm a Saturday function with a minimum spend of $2,000 then the group would only need to spend $1600 on the night to complete the $2,000 spend required.

Your deposit amount is fully refundable up until 7 days prior to your function date. Cancellations made within 7 days of your function date will result in the forfeit of your deposit amount.

If government restrictions dictate that your event cannot go ahead then we will refund your deposit amount in full regardless of whether inside the 7 day cancellation period or not.

Yes, we can add all items ordered to a tab for you and your guests and you can pay in one lump sum at the conclusion of the function if you prefer. If the total of the tab is less than the minimum spend required then the person who booked the function is liable to pay any difference outstanding at the night's conclusion.

Yes, you and your guests can all make individual payments for items as you order them at the bar. Each item purchased counts towards the minimum spend. The person who booked the function is liable to pay any difference outstanding at the night's conclusion if the minimum spend has not been met.

Unfortunately not. Takeaway beer sales do not count towards your minimum spend. For the most part we only produce small volumes of beer in cans for sales at our taproom. We package and label these by hand ourselves which is a time intensive process and because of this we have designed the minimum spend to be made throughout the night towards your function, not to empty out our takeaway beer fridge for the next month. At your nights conclusion you and your group are most welcome to purchase some takeaways after the bill has been settled and you have completed your minimum spend.

You and your guests can order food and drinks from our menu at the bar as normal. All items ordered will be put towards your minimum spend required for the function.

All food and drinks are available for order as per our normal in-house menu. Food will be brought out and served to guests in order as made at the bar.

Our venue does not host live entertainment at this time.

We have a sound system and run a music playlist on the night. You can also make your own Spotify playlist should you wish and we can connect your phone through our system for the duration of your function.

Yes, we have a wall mounted flat screen television. Please bring a USB with your content and we can run it through the TV for you.

Kids are welcome but please note that our venue does not offer kids meals or kids Birthday parties.

Our venue is strictly no BYO food & drinks.

Yes. We do not charge a cake slicing fee. Please bring your own candles.

Yes, but please take it all home with you (including any rubbish) at the end of the night.

If a private function is not suitable for your group, you can still make a regular booking through our website as normal or by contacting us during business hours. (Please note that your group will share the venue with the general public in this scenario).
